About The Position

As a Center Manager at European Wax Center, you will own the full picture of running a business, including team performance, guest experience, sales results, and culture. You will be responsible for building a center that employees are proud to work in and guests love returning to. Ballast Wax, a multi-unit EWC franchisee, invests in its managers by providing autonomy, structure, training, and a supportive team environment.

Requirements

  • Accountable for real sales metrics including revenue, conversion, and retention.
  • Experience in developing and coaching team members.
  • Ability to give direct feedback and follow through.
  • Proactive recruitment skills.
  • Ability to own and resolve guest issues.
  • 2+ years of experience leading direct reports in retail, spa, beauty, hospitality, or a similar guest-facing environment.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends (one weekend shift, not both).
  • Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Own revenue, package, and product goals and analyze sales numbers.
  • Coach the team on guest education and confident selling.
  • Analyze trends and build action plans to improve performance.
  • Drive traffic through local marketing and brand campaigns.
  • Set the standard for guest interactions and resolve escalated concerns.
  • Champion an environment guests want to return to.
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top-performing team members.
  • Provide consistent coaching, performance reviews, 1-on-1s, and feedback.
  • Build internal succession plans for team growth.
  • Create a positive and engaging team culture.
  • Manage scheduling, inventory, payroll, and cash handling.
  • Track KPIs such as productivity, retention, and labor, and act on findings.
  • Uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and brand standards.
