About The Position

The Opportunity Alliance is looking to fill our Center Director position, specifically supporting our Early Head Start and Head Start programs. The Center Director will serve as the lead staff at a multi-class center serving children ages birth to five. The right candidate will support staff, meet the needs of children and their families and provide guidance and feedback to the program’s leadership team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3-5 years of administrative experience in a Head Start Program required.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with complex information, giving great attention to detail, & engaging in effective problem-solving.
• Demonstrated proficiency in navigating large databases, report-gathering, and in Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Commitment to social justice and the mission of Head Start.
• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check.
• Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB screen.
• ECE must be current on MMR and TDAP immunizations.

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years of program evaluation experience preferred.
