About The Position

We are a school transition program for students on the autism spectrum. Our staff work with higher behavior students living with autism and provide various levels of personal care. We offer a day shift schedule from 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM, with no nights or weekends. We partner with staff to meet Highly Qualified requirements.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Ability to operate a computer and the software necessary to complete the required job tasks
• Valid driver’s license/ability to transport students via school vehicle (must have 3 or less moving violations in the last three years and no DWI/DUI convictions within the past 5 years).

Nice To Haves

• 2 year degree or a minimum of 60 college credits OR successful completion of the ParaPro exam.
• Knowledge and experience working with students on the autism spectrum and low incidence disabilities.
• One year previous experience in a middle school, high school setting or transition setting.
• Knowledge and experience working with Google Apps
