Cary’s Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department is seeking energetic and creative individuals at least 18 years of age who are enthusiastic about giving back to the community and providing exemplary customer service to citizens visiting or contacting our facilities. As a Center Aide, you are a citizen advocate of all things Cary. You are part of our citizen support team and your passion for providing exceptional customer service contributes to our high level of customer satisfaction. Acting as the first line of response to our citizens, you will communicate in an open, helpful, and engaging way and focus on finding the right solution with each citizen. You will connect with our citizens to address questions and resolve issues, then work with various teams to resolve customer support concerns, escalate issues, and serve as an ambassador for our community centers. You will serve as a host/hostess of public reservations held in the facilities welcoming their guests to our center. Must be available to work a flexible work week which includes some weekend coverage. This is a part-time, non-benefited, year-round position, up to 20 hours a week, with a maximum of 999 hours per year. Weekend and evening work are required.
