About The Position

We’re committed to helping our students - and you - reach your potential. We have been told that we are the best tutoring company to work for , and we have to agree! We are changing the world one child at a time - and you really do see it in our students every day! We provide the chance to do the kind of work that adds up to something meaningful. The opportunity to challenge yourself and learn new skills. The prospect of being surrounded by bright, driven, fun people, day-in and day-out, who are making a difference in the lives of their students everyday. That's the kind of work you can expect to do at Tutoring Club. Tutoring Club is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce. Consistently voted Best Tutoring Service, Best SAT/ACT Test Prep Provider, Best College Advisor, and a Best Enrichment Program by the readers of The Sun Gazette and Arlington , Northern Virginia , and Washington Family Magazines , Tutoring Club of McLean has been helping students of all ages and abilities thrive since 2010. From early learning to college preparation, we are a dedicated partner for every step of their journey and a trusted, long standing member of the communities we serve. At Tutoring Club, we teach students how to learn, and we believe that educators are mentors. Our team works closely with students to provide individualized support. We prepare students to thrive in any academic setting, and build lasting confidence that brings out the best in every student. Behind those students is an incredible team—and behind a great team are great operations. That's where you come in. We're looking for an exceptional Center Administrator who loves organization, solves problems, communicates beautifully, and takes pride in making a busy organization run exceptionally well. If you're the person people rely on because you remember the details, anticipate what's coming, and get things done, you may have just found your next role. Our Center Administrator is a critical part of the day-to-day operation of our learning center. This isn't a traditional administrative assistant position. You'll be one of the people who keeps our center running. You'll help ensure that our students and tutors are scheduled effectively, families receive timely communication, reports and meeting materials are prepared, records are maintained, supplies are available, and our center is organized and ready for students each day. Much of your work will happen behind a computer—managing schedules, email, spreadsheets, records, reports, and multiple systems—but you'll also be an important face and voice of Tutoring Club for our students, parents, and staff. You'll work closely with our leadership team and help create the operational foundation that allows our educators to focus on what they do best: helping students succeed. We have established processes, training, and systems to help you learn the role. But we're not looking for someone who simply checks boxes. We're looking for someone who takes ownership. When something isn't working, you notice. You ask why. You troubleshoot. You communicate. You look ahead instead of simply reacting to what's immediately in front of you. And when there's a better way to do something, you're willing to help us find it. For the right person, this will be super fun and the ideal opportunity, working with a stable and fun company that is making an impact in its community and helping shape future generations. TCM is a fun company because we hire fun individuals. There is unlimited potential for growth within the company; Administrators that deliver results can be placed on a Center Director track and eventually lead their own center if they desire.
