About The Position

Spinnaker Oilfield Services, now part of RPC Inc. and merged with Cudd Energy Services, is seeking an experienced Cementing Supervisor with a CDL A for its operations in Hobbs, NM. The company, founded in 2014, has grown to become a market leader in oilfield primary cementing, expanding its services to the Delaware basin. This role involves supervising day-to-day service operations, including Cementing & Acid/Pumpdown, for a designated district.

Requirements

  • Experienced Cementing Supervisor
  • CDL A (Commercial Driver's License Class A)
  • Ability to supervise two or more employees.
  • Knowledge of rigging up and running applicable equipment on the rig.
  • Understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to coordinate and supervise safety of the crew.
  • Experience in preparation and mobilization of tools.
  • Proficiency in performing periodic tool inspections and filing reports.
  • Ability to act as a liaison between the company and customer representative.
  • Skill in instructing crews in safe working practices, proper operations, and equipment care.
  • Willingness to perform general labor and other assigned duties.
  • Must be able to perform safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises two or more employees in day-to-day service operations (Cementing & Acid/Pumpdown) for designated District.
  • Champions the company’s H.S.E.&T program in all aspects of work performed to provide quality service in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Coordinates and supervises the rigging up and running of applicable equipment on the rig, safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinates and supervises implementation of company policies, procedures and maintenance of equipment on the rig.
  • Coordinates and supervises the safety of the crew at the rig site.
  • Coordinates and supervises preparation and mobilization of tools.
  • Coordinates and supervises periodic tool inspections and filing of all pertinent reports.
  • Acts as liaison between the company and the customer representative.
  • Instructs the crews in safe working practices, proper operations, care and maintenance of equipment.
  • Performs any and all job duties as assigned by supervisory personnel including general labor, as necessary.
  • This position is required to perform safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.
