About The Position

Spinnaker Oilfield Services, now part of RPC Inc. and merged with Cudd Energy Services, is a leading provider of oilfield primary cementing. Founded in 2014, Spinnaker has experienced rapid growth and is a market leader in the Anadarko basin. In 2020, Spinnaker expanded into the north and central Delaware basin with a facility in Hobbs, New Mexico. This role performs basic operations for Acidizing and Cementing related functions for the designated District. The operator will assist in various aspects of Acidizing and Cementing operations, including pre-job preparation, mobilization, rig up, on-site operations, rig down, on-site maintenance, safety, environmental assurance, de-mobilization, post job inventories and maintenance. The position ensures that all equipment assigned is properly functioning and all applicable procedures and tests are conducted in compliance with company standards. This position is required to perform safety-sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.

Requirements

  • CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
  • Must be able to perform safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.

Responsibilities

  • Performs basic operations for Acidizing and Cementing related functions for designated District.
  • Assists in various aspects of Acidizing and Cementing operations, including pre-job preparation, mobilization, rig up, on site operations, rig down, on-site maintenance, safety, environmental assurance, de-mobilization, post job inventories and maintenance.
  • Ensures that all equipment assigned is properly functioning and all applicable procedures and tests are conducted in compliance with company standards.
  • Champions the company’s H.S.E.&T program in all aspects of work performed to provide quality service in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Operates and maintains auxiliary and support equipment.
  • Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections, as needed.
  • Serves as a Mentor to other CCA personnel.
  • Follows supervisor guidance concerning all operations.
  • Attends all required safety meetings (on-site and off).
  • Performs any and all job duties as assigned by supervisory personnel including general labor, as necessary.
