Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Medical Technology/Science or Biology - Required
  • 1 year Chemistry or Life Science - Required
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required

  • 1 year Blood Bank - Preferred
  • 1 year Hematology - Preferred
  • Medical Technology/Science - Preferred
  • Medical Technologist (MT) - American Medical Technologists (AMT) - Preferred
  • Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) - Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process cellular therapy products and patient samples in accordance with established SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform laboratory procedures with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Operate and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment used in product processing and testing.
  • Perform required quality control (QC), instrument verifications, maintenance, and routine performance checks.
  • Accurately document all processing activities, test results, maintenance, and QC records using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Maintain chain of identity and chain of custody for cellular therapy products and related samples.
  • Identify supply needs and communicate inventory concerns to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations.
  • Adhere to laboratory safety procedures, infection control practices, and hazardous material handling requirements.
  • Participate in competency assessments and continuing education.
