The Cellular Therapy Program Coordinator is a specialized clinical role responsible for the overall clinical and programmatic development, implementation, and ongoing coordination of the Cellular Therapy (CAR-T) program. Serving as the central point of contact, this role coordinates care across the full continuum—from referral and eligibility assessment through cell collection, infusion, inpatient and outpatient management, and long-term follow-up. The coordinator partners closely with patients and caregivers, multidisciplinary clinical teams, apheresis services, laboratories, inpatient and outpatient oncology services, and cellular therapy manufacturers to ensure the safe, timely, and compliant delivery of CAR-T therapy. This position provides complex, multi-disciplinary coordination for a highly specialized oncology population, developing, evaluating, and refining care pathways based on comprehensive patient assessments and collaboration across departments. The coordinator interfaces directly with Valley Hospital, Valley Medical Group, administrative, nursing, medical, and quality leadership, as well as affiliated Mount Sinai departments. In addition to direct care coordination, the role leads the development and implementation of organization-wide standards of care, with a focus on clinical excellence, education, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and patient outcomes.
