About The Position

As a member of the systems engineering team working on cellular power, the Cellular Power Systems Engineer tackles challenging problems related to power architecture and optimization. The team’s mission is to design and deliver highly power-efficient cellular products. The engineer works cross-functionally across disciplines to drive optimal power architecture from product requirements through commercialization. This includes defining system-level specifications, proposing innovative ideas, defining power architecture, and driving power optimizations to meet product requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of cellular communication technologies, including 5G.
• Experience with power optimization methodologies.
• Familiarity with system power architecture.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with power breakdown and power waveform analysis.
• Experience with pre-Silicon power modeling.
• Experience in end-to-end timeline analysis and defining interactions between hardware, software, and firmware.
• Familiarity with 6G.
• Knowledge of modem architecture, including baseband and RF components.
• Experience with thermal analysis and mitigation techniques.
