Requirements

  • Ability to correctly log onto the shop floor data system for labor.
  • Ability to read and follow appropriate product criteria, activity instructions, and elements.
  • Ability to follow all safety precautions as spelled out in the Activity Instruction.
  • Proficiency in using appropriate equipment/tools (Press, Pill Heater, Belt Sander, Anneal Bake Oven, Ring Press, CNC Machines, Burr Gun, Ultra Max, Hand Tools).
  • Ability to form and finish cores per Activity instruction and product criteria.
  • Ability to load anneal bake setters per product criteria, if required.
  • Ability to load and unload anneal bake oven, if required.
  • Understanding of loading and operation of CNC machines.
  • Responsibility for visual and dimensional quality of green cores (gauge cores).
  • Ability to visually inspect cores for unacceptable defects per the product criteria or activity instruction.
  • Ability to correctly log lot travelers and scrap after each tray and take cores to kiln truck.
  • Ability to fill out OEE sheets.
  • Ability to maintain clean work area and perform TPM per schedule.
  • Ability to perform pre-shift die inspection and TPM checklist.
  • Ability to observe safety policies and regulations.
  • Maintain high attendance record.
  • Basic understanding of the use of dial calipers, micrometers and pin gauges.
  • Understand use of the HCS ‘Help Chain’.
  • Ability to maintain pacing via Aussie Pace System.
  • Ability to perform Problem Solving with Leadership.
  • Ability to perform other duties as directed by Leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Use appropriate equipment and tools including Press, Pill Heater, Belt Sander, Anneal Bake Oven, Ring Press, CNC Machines, Burr Gun, Ultra Max, and Hand Tools.
  • Form and finish cores according to Activity Instruction and product criteria.
  • Load anneal bake setters per product criteria, if required.
  • Load and unload anneal bake oven, if required.
  • Understand the loading and operation of CNC machines.
  • Be responsible for the visual and dimensional quality of green cores (gauge cores).
  • Visually inspect cores for unacceptable defects per product criteria or activity instruction.
