About The Position

The Cell Operator performs investment casting finishing operations including, blending, straightening, hand-finishing, and visual inspection to bring castings to dimensional and cosmetic standards required for customer delivery or downstream processing. This role works within a production cell environment to execute multiple finishing operations and ensure that castings meet all applicable customer and quality requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
No prior experience required
Manual dexterity for blending, and hand-finishing operations on complex casting geometries.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions for finishing requirements.
Visual acuity for surface finish inspection and visual defect identification.
Ability to operate multiple finishing tools and equipment types.
Attention to detail for dimensional verification and traveler documentation.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Employees must be able to meet export control eligibility requirements as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Perform visual inspection and visual rework of castings per instructions and specifications.
Perform dimensional inspection and straightening of castings per instruction and specifications.
Maintain equipment, work area, and complete production documentation per established procedures and 5S standards.
Complete production traveler documentation, inspection records, and scrap reports accurately at each assigned cell operation.
