About The Position
The Cell Lead I is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and leading the activities of a cellular work team in a manufacturing environment. They ensure the team meets assigned goals and objectives while working with various production machinery and equipment. The role involves executing production schedules, scheduling employees, ensuring materials availability, maintaining quality standards, and facilitating on-the-job training. Cell Lead position is Eligible for a $3/hour cell lead premium.
Requirements
- Knowledge of industry, machinery, equipment, and processes
- Previous experience managing internal relationships and team facilitation
- Scheduling experience in manufacturing
- Business systems software (excel, word, job costing systems)
- Five years related experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instruments
- Previous experience with tight tolerances
- Programming experience with CNC Machines
- Experience with set-up on CNC Machines
- Experience in troubleshooting of CNC Machines
- Business/technical degree or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Coordinate employees, equipment, and materials/supplies to have continuous and efficient production
- Ensure orders are completed on time and meet the quality standards
- Train and develop personnel
- Ensure employee compliance with schedules, policy, and procedures
