About The Position

Valiant is looking for a Live Fire Cell Shift Leader to join their team. This role is responsible for assisting the Live Fire Division Lead with the administrative, technical, and operational aspects associated with the Live Fire section. The position involves supervising, training, and leading Live Fire shifts, and ensuring all ammunition draws, packaging, and turn-in requirements are completed to standard within the statement of work, in coordination with OPS GRP Live Fire Branch and other agencies. The role also requires ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, Ft. Polk, and Valiant regulations/safety requirements, and maintaining and accounting for equipment daily. Other duties may be assigned as per Mission Support Contract requirements.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Senior NCOES staff school attendance or civilian equivalent.
  • 1+ year experience issuing and receiving ammunition.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience in an organization of comparable or greater size and complexity.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs Excel and Word.
  • Completion of Ammo 62 (Technical Transportation of Hazardous Materials) within 6 months of accepting position.
  • Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US and foreign countries.
  • Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation.
  • Individual must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screening; will be subject to random drug screening.
  • Individual must have a valid state driver’s license.
  • Must be able to work shift work and weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Warrant Officer in 910A, or Senior NCO 89B (ammunition specialist), or 89D (EOD) career field equivalent.
  • Ammo 62 training course attendance.
  • Current NACI or Secret security clearance.
  • State Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring equipment is maintained and accounted for daily.
  • Performing other duties in accordance with Mission Support Contract requirements as directed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
