The Cell Lead is responsible for supporting the team by serving as the first point of contact for assigned work, coordinating the daily activities of the fabrication cell. This role involves training and mentoring team members to ensure skill development and role proficiency, removing obstacles, solving problems, and empowering cell members to perform their best. The Cell Lead prioritizes and completes production tasks on time, maintaining a “can’t believe they pulled that off” mindset for expedited and high-impact projects. Additionally, the role upholds quality standards, performs routine maintenance, and identifies best practices to improve cell performance, increase productivity, and reduce costs. The Cell Lead also performs fabrication duties as a working lead, operating fabrication equipment proficiently, addressing equipment issues to minimize downtime, and ensuring efficient parts flow with minimal work-in-progress inventory. Fostering open communication, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration while upholding Aagard's values is also a key aspect of this position. Overtime may be required based on business and customer needs.
