About The Position

Responsible for production work orders specific to their product line and/or work cell assignment. Responsible for knowing, following, and not deviating from the appropriate procedures assigned to their product line and/or work cell. Must have ability to show proficiency in their assigned area by having approved competencies. Must also have the ability to work in a team environment and have attention to detail. In addition, promotes a continuous improvement culture through a team focus on safety, product quality, employee engagement and productivity in order to deliver the highest quality product to customers.

Requirements

3yrs of experience in a Manufacturing leadership role or related experience
High School Diploma or GED
Proven experience with outside leadership or involvement in “champion/captain” role or similar

Nice To Haves

Prior leadership experience in manufacturing/production role
Training and development experience

Responsibilities

Completes repetitive tasks and follows procedures along with written and verbal instructions; works on production line duties for majority of scheduled shift
Manages time and resources effectively through good organizational skills and through use of independent decision making.
Displays versatility and flexibility on a regular basis within department

Responsible for line/area/cell performance to targets
Responsible for tracking and updating on relevant metrics (as needed) and recording/tracking efficiency issues or concerns.
