Cell Lead
About The Position
This is a Safety Sensitive Position (drug test may be required). The Cell Lead will oversee all cell employees, production flow, and quality of cell machines. They will be responsible for issuing materials, preparing shop orders for closure, and supporting the process as needed. This role involves approving in-process production, assisting with IFS transactions, and communicating quality issues. The Cell Lead will also train new operators and temporary employees, document all training, complete and scan production paperwork, and participate in Continuous Improvement activities. They must report any potential food safety, quality, or food defense concerns and follow all documented Good Manufacturing Practices, maintain product safety, legality, regulatory compliance, and quality systems, and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all cell employees
- Oversee production flow of the cell
- Oversee quality of Cell Machines
- Oversee overall machine Quality
- Issue all material to shop orders i.e. pouches, straws
- Prepare shop orders to be closed
- Supports process as needed
- Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to Quality and the production supervisor
- Assist supervisor with all IFS Transactions
- Communicate quality issues to all necessary personnel and what will be done with product.
- Training of all new operators and temporary employees and document all training provided.
- Complete all necessary production paperwork
- Scan all production paperwork into shop orders
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities
- Report any potential food safety, quality or food defense concerns to the supervisor or quality personnel
- Follow all documented Good Manufacturing Practices
- Maintain product safety, legality, regulatory compliance and quality systems
- Must Follow All Company Policies and Procedures
