This Role We’re looking for a hands-on, curious, and driven Cell Engineerng Co-Op/Intern to join our technical team. You’ll play a key role in cell fabrication, manufacturing scale-up, and electrochemical testing, working closely with our CTO and scientists to validate and improve next-generation solid oxide technologies.

Requirements

  • Working toward or recently completed B.S. or M.S. in Materials Science, Ceramic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • Strong lab skills, hands-on attitude, and dedication to safe working practices —comfortable working with high-temperature furnaces/reactors and compressed gasses.
  • Excellent data analysis, notebook-keeping, and communication skills
  • Excited by startup energy, and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ceramic processing, fuel cells, batteries, or electrochemical testing is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the fabrication of electrochemical cells, including slurry prep, tape casting, sintering, and infiltration
  • Analyze performance and durability data and contribute to design-of-experiments (DOE)
  • Help develop and refine manufacturing SOPs and quality control procedures
  • Support lab setup, equipment maintenance, and process documentation
