CEI Senior Construction Inspector
About The Position
STV is seeking a CEI Senior Inspector to join its Inspection Team in Franklin or Chattanooga, Tennessee. The role involves being directly responsible for inspection requirements related to assigned construction operations. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator and includes assisting the Senior Inspector in performing their duties. The position also involves technical field assignments in surveying and construction layout, engineering computations, construction inspection, field testing, and assistance with geotechnical field exploration activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Minimum of 10 years of construction inspection experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
- Possess, or be able to obtain within six months of hire, TDEC Level 1 EPSC certification.
- Possess, or be able to obtain within six months of hire, TDOT HMA Certified Roadway Inspector certification.
- Possess, or be able to obtain within six months of hire, TDOT Asphalt Plant Technician certification.
- Possess, or be able to obtain within six months of hire, TDOT Concrete Field Technician or ACI Grade 1 Concrete Technician certification.
- Possess, or be able to obtain within six months of hire, TDOT Radiation Safety and Nuclear Gauge certification.
- Possess, or be able to obtain within six months of hire, TDOT Soils and Aggregates certification.
- Possess, or be able to obtain within six months of hire, Work Zone Traffic Control/Flagging certification.
- Possess, or be able to obtain within six months of hire, TDOT Intermediate MOT certification.
- Possess, or be able to obtain within six months of hire, 10 Hour OSHA Safety Training.
Nice To Haves
- TDOT experience.
- Site Manager or AASHTOWare experience.
Responsibilities
