About The Position

EXP is seeking a Senior Inspector for infrastructure and transportation projects in Northern Florida, in the Tallahassee or Chipley area. The role performs assignments assisting a Senior Inspector and receives general supervision from that inspector, who reviews work while it is in progress.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent, plus two years of construction inspection experience, including one year in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection; alternatively, an Engineer Intern with a Civil Engineering degree and certificate may qualify if they have the required qualifications and certifications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CTQP Pile Driving Inspection.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection, required for inspection of all drilled shafts, including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structures.
• Demonstrated knowledge of IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CTQP Final Estimates Level I.
• Demonstrated knowledge of FDOT Advanced MOT.

Responsibilities

• Perform assignments assisting a Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties.
• Work under general supervision, with work reviewed while in progress.
