Requirements

  • FDOT Advanced MOT (Temporary Traffic Control)
  • CTQP Final Estimates Level II
  • CTQP Quality Control Manager
  • Eight (8) years of CEI or roadway or bridge construction inspection experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registered in the State of Florida
  • Must obtain endorsement in the State of Florida within six (6) months if registered in another state.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Qualifications / certifications for this position may be obtained within six (6) months from the date of hire provided that all other requirements for the position are met.

Responsibilities

  • Administer construction contracts for roadway and / or bridge projects to ensure compliance with contract documents.
  • Manage day to day operations of CEI team ensuring project management plan requirements are met.
  • Direct and assign specific tasks to administrative and field staff and assist in all phases of the construction project.
  • Read and interpret contract documents including plans, specifications, and shop drawings submittals.
  • Ensure verification testing compliance requirements are met.
  • Review and approve progress and final pay estimates.
  • Prepare monthly reporting and / or other status updates as requested by the client or management.
  • Coordinate progress and schedules with client and all project stakeholders.
  • Receive general instructions regarding assignments, and exercise initiative and independent judgment in the solution of work problems and project issues.
