About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a CEI Inspector to join its team in Tampa, Florida. The inspector assists field representatives with materials sampling and soil, concrete, asphalt, and similar testing; keeps diary records and general notes on construction processes; and performs basic plan reading to identify station locations, curve information, features, and elevations. The role also involves preparing testing sites and carrying materials, usually weighing up to 60 pounds. The inspector may perform other duties assigned by a supervisor. The position is an employee role classified as regular. The stated expected compensation range is $26.00–$31.00 per hour, depending on skills, experience, and geographical location. Requirements

Five years of experience is required.
A high school diploma is a plus.

Responsibilities

Carry materials, usually weighing up to 60 pounds.
Prepare testing sites using a shovel, wheelbarrow, and other tools.
Assist field representatives with sampling materials and conducting soil, concrete, asphalt, and similar testing.
Take general notes on construction processes and keep diary records.
Perform basic plan reading, including identifying station locations, curve information, features, and elevations.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
