About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a CEI Inspector to join its team in Tampa, Florida. The role supports field representatives with construction materials sampling and testing, records construction activities, and performs basic plan reading. The inspector may also perform other duties assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma is a plus.
• Five years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Carry materials, usually weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Prepare testing sites using a shovel, wheelbarrow, and other tools.
• Assist field representatives with material sampling and soil, concrete, asphalt, and similar testing activities.
• Take general notes on the construction process and maintain diary records.
• Perform minimal plan reading, such as identifying station locations, curve information, features, and elevations.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
