About The Position
Responsible for teaching Continuing Education classes. Instructors are hired part-time, contingent upon departmental needs. Classes may be offered during daytime, evenings, weekends, and some College holidays, at various times and locations during the academic year. This position is temporary, revenue-funded, hourly, and limited to no more than 19 hours per week. It is not eligible for benefits.
Requirements
- Three years of progressive experience as a Medical Biller/Coder professional.
- Current AAPC Medical Billing Coding certification (CPC).
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in a related field.
- At least one year of prior teaching experience in the subject matter.
- Online teaching experience using Canvas or a similar learning management system.
