About The Position
TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, a leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, is seeking applicants to deliver mail on a CDS mail route in the Brownsville, Texas area. This role involves sorting, loading, and delivering mail and parcels along a designated route, as well as performing other administrative duties. Applicants must provide their own dependable vehicle that meets postal regulations and insurance requirements.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Able to lift 70 lbs.
- Able to work in all types of weather conditions
- Must reside in the area
- Provide own vehicle
- Vehicle must provide 120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels (Mini-Van, SUV, Truck with Camper Shell)
- Vehicle must have $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance
- Applicant is responsible for all vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs
- Provide a three-year work history
Responsibilities
- Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 459 active boxes
- Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle
- Delivering mail along an assigned 71.1-mile line-of-travel
- Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
- Other administrative duties are required
