About The Position

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, is seeking applicants to deliver mail on a Contract Delivery Service (CDS) mail route for the United States Postal Service (USPS) in the Herreid, SD area. The company is a leader in contract delivery for the USPS and has offices in 20 states. This role involves delivering mail and parcels along a designated route, requiring the use of a personal vehicle that meets postal regulations.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid South Dakota driver's license
• Able to lift 70 lbs
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions
• Must reside in the Herreid, SD area
• Must furnish a dependable vehicle (Mini-Van or Equivalent) with at least 120 cubic feet of usable load space
• Vehicle must meet postal regulations
• Possess $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for the contract vehicle
• Applicant is responsible for all vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must have a criminal background history that meets USPS standards

Responsibilities

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 95 active boxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle
• Delivering mail along an assigned 127.7-mile line-of-travel
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Performing other administrative duties as required
