About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated CDLA Semi Local Driver to join our team. This role involves regional and local runs, primarily serving the Midwest region including Illinois (no downtown Chicago), Indiana, Michigan (including Upper Peninsula), Ohio, and Wisconsin. The driver will be responsible for delivering to stores and shuttling between Lansing, MI & Pleasant Prairie, WI. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off, starting at 6:00 AM. Drivers will be out 2-3 nights per week. This position is no-touch freight, with the majority of loads being drop and hook. Drivers will operate single bunk sleeper trucks that stay at the account during home time. Slip seating will only occur during truck service.

Requirements

Valid CDL Class A license.
At least 3 months of trucking experience.
Must obtain Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Experience with regional and local runs.
Familiarity with the Midwest driving region, including Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

Complete regional runs (75% of loads, 200+ miles) and local runs (25% of loads, under 200 miles).
Deliver to stores and shuttle between Lansing, MI & Pleasant Prairie, WI.
Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
Maintain accurate logs and delivery records.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Obtain Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.
