About The Position
We’re looking for experienced Class A CDL drivers for a semi-local route based out of Reno, NV. Drivers will haul pet supplies. Operate in CA, NV, WY, UT, ID, and MT. Start times: Between 10 PM and 2 PM. Schedule: Sunday through Thursday. Home Time: Home weekly; out overnight 2–3 nights per week. Typical routes include North of Visalia California.
Requirements
- Experienced Class A CDL drivers
- Must be able to safely operate in winter conditions.
- Must be able to install tire chains when weather and road conditions require it.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pet supplies from the Reno, NV distribution center to Petco stores.
- Drive routes throughout CA, NV, UT, WY, MT, and ID, with about 70% of deliveries in California.
- Regularly drive through Donner Pass and safely operate in winter conditions.
- Unload palletized freight using an electric pallet jack.
- Use lift gates at locations when required.
- Pick up backhaul freight and return it to Reno.
- Install tire chains when weather and road conditions require it.
- Operate an assigned automatic sleeper truck.
- Follow DOT regulations, company safety procedures, and delivery schedules.
- Assist other dedicated accounts as needed on a weekly basis.
