About The Position

We are seeking a CDLA Semi-Local Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves regional and local runs, primarily serving store deliveries and shuttling between Lansing, MI, and Pleasant Prairie, WI. The schedule is typically Sunday through Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off, and a start time of 6:00 AM. Drivers will be out 2-3 nights per week. The position is no-touch freight, with the majority of loads being drop and hook. Hazmat endorsement is required within 90 days, and the company will cover the cost.

Requirements

Valid CDLA license.
At least 3 months of trucking experience.
Must obtain Hazmat endorsement within 90 days.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Illinois (no downtown Chicago), Indiana, Michigan (including Upper Peninsula), Ohio, and Wisconsin routes.
Familiarity with Chicago suburb routes.

Responsibilities

Perform regional runs (75% of loads, 200+ miles) and local runs (25% of loads, under 200 miles).
Deliver to stores and shuttle between Lansing, MI & Pleasant Prairie, WI.
Handle mostly drop and hook loads (85%).
Average 4 stops per load.
Maintain attendance and safety standards.
Obtain Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.

Average $84,000–$90,000 per year.

Mileage pay starting at $0.63/mile for regional and $0.725/mile for local, with raises after 1 and 3 years.
$20 per stop for regional runs, $30 per stop for local runs.
$100 per week attendance pay.
$30 for backhaul pickups.
$25/hour for breakdowns (after 2 hours, up to $300/day).
$20/hour safety pay.
