About The Position
We are seeking a Local CDL-A Truck Driver for our South Gate, CA location. This position offers a weekend schedule with an average annual pay of $77,000+. Drivers will haul rail containers throughout Southern California using automatic day cab trucks. The role involves a mix of drop and hook and live unloads, with no-touch freight. Drivers will return empty containers to the South Gate rail yard. Shifts are typically 10-12 hours, covering approximately 900 miles per week. A 6th workday is available for extra income, and Thanksgiving & Christmas are optional workdays.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- At least 3 months of CDL driving experience
Nice To Haves
- Hazmat endorsement (not required)
- Refrigerated load experience
