About The Position
Universal Intermodal Services is looking for CDL-A drivers to lease-purchase out of our fleet. Runs include Montgomery, AL, Chattanooga, TN, Dicks Sporting Goods Drop and Hook, Dollar General, and more. We offer home daily, no-touch freight, weekly percentage-based pay with a consistent and growing customer base, and non-forced dispatch. Plate and insurance programs are available, along with the U-SAV program for national tire vendors, cell phones, and rental cars. We also provide 24/7 road service assistance and on-site parking. Local and regional opportunities are available with consistent freight volumes.
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- 6 months recent tractor-trailer experience
Responsibilities
- Operate a tractor-trailer for lease-purchase opportunities.
- Transport goods on designated routes, including Montgomery, AL, Chattanooga, TN, and specific customer locations like Dicks Sporting Goods and Dollar General.
- Ensure no-touch freight handling.
- Adhere to non-forced dispatch policies.
- Utilize 24/7 road service assistance when needed.
- Manage personal expenses through the U-SAV program for tires, cell phones, and rental cars.
