CDLA Dump Truck Driver | Home Daily | Mon-Fri | $31 -$34/hr
About The Position
Outdoor Living Supply is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Dump Truck Driver to safely deliver landscape and construction materials throughout the South Lake Tahoe region. This is a full-time seasonal position with consistent Monday–Friday, first-shift hours, seasonal overtime opportunities, and home daily routes. The role involves operating a Class A transfer dump truck, delivering materials, performing inspections, maintaining DOT compliance, loading/unloading materials, communicating with dispatch, providing customer service, and maintaining the truck. Drivers will operate safely in changing weather and mountain driving conditions.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Minimum one year of CDL driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission
- Ability to pass a background check and FMCSA Clearinghouse check
- Strong commitment to safety and DOT compliance
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Professional attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A transfer dump truck
- Deliver landscape and construction materials accurately and on schedule
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain DOT compliance and required logs
- Safely load, transport, and unload materials
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and customer needs
- Provide outstanding customer service at every stop
- Keep your truck clean, fueled, and ready for the next day's route
- Report maintenance concerns promptly
- Operate safely in changing weather and mountain driving conditions
