About The Position

CDL Truck Drivers operate heavy-duty trucks equipped with front-, side-, or rear-end load-lift attachments, depending on the line of business and vehicle. They collect and transport waste or recyclable materials to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities when trucks reach legal load capacity. Depending on the route, drivers service commercial containers, collect residential waste and recyclables, or prepare, load, and transport large open-top and compactor containers from customer locations. The work involves navigating congested roads and tight spaces, and may require maneuvering heavy wheeled containers and performing skilled backing maneuvers. Drivers are expected to operate vehicles and equipment safely and reliably, follow assigned routes, and help maintain clean customer locations. This is an on-site, safety-sensitive role. The posting describes a Monday–Friday schedule with a 5 a.m. start time, and notes that drivers are home at night and on weekends.
