About The Position

WM is hiring a CDL Truck Driver to operate heavy-duty collection trucks and transport waste or recyclable material to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities. Depending on the line of business, drivers may collect commercial containers, residential waste and recyclables, or large roll-off containers. The work involves driving in congested roadways and maneuvering in driveways, alleyways, lots, and, on some industrial routes, tight overhead environments. Drivers must safely perform backing maneuvers and may need to move wheeled containers weighing more than 1,000 pounds to a pickup area. The role is designated safety-sensitive. Drivers must comply with applicable safety rules and protocols and may be subject to drug and alcohol testing under government regulations and company policies. The position is on-site, pays an advertised range of $22.00–$31.00, and has Monday–Friday shifts with early start times.
