CDL TRUCK DRIVER (Construction)
About The Position
Branch is seeking an experienced, safety-oriented Multi-Rear Axle Truck Driver to transport construction materials. The role may involve operating vehicles with various types of beds or attachments, including dump beds, flatbeds, water tanks, water wagons, service trucks, and hoist trucks. The driver may also pull a semi-trailer or trailer. This is a full-time position, typically involving 40 or more hours per week. Due to the nature of the work, the employee must be available on call during early and late hours to handle delays, bad weather, and emergencies at job sites. Compensation ranges from $38,209.50 to $63,705.00, with actual compensation determined by experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of multi-rear axle truck driving experience.
- Knowledge of construction techniques.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including frequently lifting or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving up to 100 pounds.
- Availability for on-call early and late hours to address delays, bad weather, and job-site emergencies.
Nice To Haves
- DOT experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Transport construction materials using a multi-rear axle truck.
- Load and unload materials and operate the vehicle.
- Start and manipulate the vehicle.
- Fuel, lubricate, and service the vehicle routinely.
- Oil, grease, service, and make normal operating adjustments to equipment, as needed.
- Perform other related duties.
