CDL Truck Driver - Split shift
About The Position
Kapco Metal Stamping is seeking a CDL Truck Driver for a split shift position at their Grafton, WI facility. This role involves driving a truck to transport materials and equipment, loading and unloading, and performing various shipping, receiving, or warehousing duties. The position requires attention to detail for paperwork related to shipments and receiving, safe material handling, and successful completion of Kapco's forklift certification program. Requirements
- Class A CDL License
- Three to six months experience in shipping/receiving/or traffic areas; or involving driving of a tandem axle truck, which requires a commercial driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Drive truck on roads and highways transporting materials and equipment
- Load and unload material as needed
- Perform various shipping, receiving, or warehousing duties as assigned
- Perform necessary identification and paperwork in connection with shipments or receiving where close attention to detail is required
- Practice safe and alert material handling
- Successfully complete Kapco’s forklift certification program
- Other duties as assigned
