CDL Truck Driver Trainee - Rochester, MN #867 Sign-On Bonus up to $5,000!
About The Position
Kwik Trip is seeking motivated individuals to join our CDL Truck Driver Trainee program. This program offers the unique opportunity to get paid while attending CDL school, with tuition fully covered. Upon successful completion of the training, you will have a guaranteed driving position with Kwik Trip. The role involves assisting with unloading products, placing them in designated store locations, and working independently in various weather conditions. The training program is structured in two phases: the first six weeks as a Delivery Assistant with a day shift schedule, and the subsequent eight weeks as a CDL Driver Trainee on a night shift schedule.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old to be a Delivery Assistant
- At least 21 years old to be a CDL Driver Trainee
- Excellent driving record in accordance with Kwik Trip’s driving matrix
- Ability to meet DOT requirements upon completion of training (including DOT drug screen and DOT physical)
- Willing to sign contract to enter Kwik Trip’s CDL Tuition Reimbursement Program
- Commitment to accept a driving position with Kwik Trip upon completion of apprenticeship
- Sit up to 6 hours at a time
- Stand up to 2 hours at a time
- Bend/reach/twist/stoop/squat frequently
- Lift up to 75 pounds to waist level occasionally
- Lift up to 70 pounds to 60 inches occasionally
- Lift up to 40 pounds to 72 inches frequently
- Carry 90 pounds occasionally
- Push/pull up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
- Must live within 60 miles/60 minutes of Eyota, MN
Responsibilities
- Assisting with unloading up to 30,000 pounds of product at Kwik Trip Stores
- Placing products in the correct location (cooler, freezer, backroom)
- Working with minimal supervision in a safety-conscious environment
- Working in a variety of weather/temperature conditions
