About The Position

Alan Ritchey, Inc. is a family-owned company with more than 60 years of service. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This is a full-time position based in the Dallas, TX area, with OTR positions available for SOLO drivers. Routes will be in the central US, with no east or west coast trips. The company offers modern equipment, including 2024-2025 Freightliner Cascadias with state-of-the-art safety technologies.

Requirements

CDL license
No felony charges or pending felony charges in the last 7 years
Ability to drive routes to deliver freight on time and in excellent condition to designated locations while ensuring compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
Ability to maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, any incidents that occur during transport.
Ability to submit all PODs and BOLs electronically promptly.
Ability to conduct pre-trip, in-route and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and functionality.
Ability to communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and support staff regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Ability to adhere to all company policies regarding safety protocols and procedures as well as federal/state transportation laws regarding commercial driving.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently over long distances.
Drive routes to deliver freight on time and in excellent condition to designated locations while ensuring compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.

Benefits

Up to $90,000.00 per year
Solo pay: $0.70 on ALL miles after first freight pick up to last freight drop, whether empty or loaded.

Solo avg. 2,800 - 3,000 miles/week
