CDL Shuttle Driver

About The Position

Safely transports employees and customers from parking facilities to their designated areas while providing exceptional service and maintaining safety. Ensures the shuttle is clean, properly maintained, and meets company standards and brand representation. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Requirements

Six months of professional driving experience.
Proficiency in spoken and written English; ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
High school diploma or GED.
CDL Class A, B, or C with Passenger Endorsement.
Updated Medical Certificate and DPU Certification.
Valid driver's license in the state of residency.
Strong customer-service skills and ability to build relationships with customers.
Ability to sit for long periods and walk short distances.
Manual ability to operate a shuttle bus safely.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
At least 18 years of age.
Ability and willingness to smile during every passenger interaction.
Ability to maintain uniform standards while around the account.
Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Driving record must meet company standards.
Ability to pass the company-issued driving test.
Time-management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain safety standards while transporting employees to their designated areas.
Ensure the vehicle meets safety requirements and is current with its maintenance schedule.
Follow traffic signs and laws and maintain posted speed limits.
Ensure all passengers are authorized to board the shuttle.
Maintain a set schedule to minimize delays.
Ensure each passenger has a positive experience.
Resolve issues in a timely manner.
Extend the Exceptional Care philosophy.
Communicate necessary information clearly, concisely, and professionally to managers and passengers, in person or via the shuttle radio.
Keep the vehicle clean and maintained to company standards.
