About The Position

GFL is hiring a full-time, regular CDL Roll-Off Driver to support construction, industrial, and commercial projects by operating heavy hoist trucks. The driver hauls waste, construction debris, or recyclables on assigned local routes and uses hydraulic hoists and cables to load, unload, and position 10-to-40-yard open-top containers and industrial compactors. The role involves maneuvering at construction sites and commercial properties, inspecting loads, securing cables and tarping, and completing daily vehicle inspections. The position offers local routes, predictable hours, and the opportunity to be home every night.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B in good standing.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb truck steps and beds, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safe operations.
• Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located; candidates must provide documentation confirming eligibility to work before their start date.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive roll-off trucks on assigned local routes to haul waste, construction debris, or recyclables.
• Operate hydraulic hoists and cables to load, unload, and position 10-to-40-yard open-top containers and industrial compactors.
• Maneuver trucks through tight construction sites and commercial properties.
• Inspect loads, secure cables and tarping, and complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
