About The Position

Patriot Disposal / Apple Valley Waste is seeking a Driver - Residential Trash to join their growing team. This role is responsible for supporting key operations within the waste management and recycling industry, contributing to the organization’s success through strong execution, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to safety, service quality, and operational excellence. The company is one of the fastest-growing waste and recycling companies in the Mid-Atlantic and is expanding rapidly across residential, commercial, and roll-off services.

Requirements

• Must have a Class A or B CDL with a current, valid DOT medical certificate.
• Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs, climb in and out of the truck throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform pre- and post-trip inspections on the truck and its components.

Responsibilities

• Drive a rear load garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste in residential neighborhoods, construction sites, and other assigned areas.
• Lift and climb in and out of the truck, and the ability to lift objects up to 70 lbs.
• Read route sheets and service each customer on the route as assigned by the dispatcher.
• Operate lever hand controls for hydraulic machinery to collect and dump waste.
• Conduct basic inspections of truck components to ensure the vehicle is safe and ready for the route.
