About The Position

Woodford Oil Company, a leading distributor of Propane, Heating Oil, and Refined Fuels, is seeking a Professional Propane Truck Driver to join their team. The driver will be responsible for delivering products to customer locations efficiently, punctually, and safely. This role also involves assisting the Propane Service Technician when needed. The company serves customers in West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Class A or B CDL license with air brake, hazmat
• Must Possess a clean driving record
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs. in all weather conditions, hot and cold
• CDL driving experience required: 2 years
• Meet all DOT requirements

Responsibilities

• Loads, secures, trucks, delivers, and unloads propane to and from specified destinations
• Inspect vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies or routine maintenance
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company procedures
• Operate truck in accordance to established safety procedures
• During daily interaction with customers, provide exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering questions
• Requires some after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response
• Inspects, paints, repairs and loads tanks
• Under supervision, handles and maintain flow of materials and products under safety guidlines
