About The Position

Woodford Oil Company, a leading distributor of Propane, Heating Oil, and Refined Fuels, is seeking a Professional Propane Truck Driver to join their team. The role involves delivering products to customer locations efficiently, punctually, and safely, and may include assisting the Propane Service Technician. The company serves customers in West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Class A or B CDL license with air brake, hazmat
• Must possess a clean driving record
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs. in all weather conditions, hot and cold
• CDL driving experience required: 2 years
• Meet all DOT requirements

Responsibilities

• Loads, secures, trucks, delivers, and unloads propane to and from specified destinations
• Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance
• Prepares and maintains records in accordance with regulations and company procedures
• Operates truck in accordance with established safety procedures
• Provides exceptional customer service during daily interaction with customers by supplying service information and answering questions
• Handles after-hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response
• Inspects, paints, repairs, and loads tanks
• Under supervision, handles and maintains the flow of materials and products under safety guidelines
