Requirements

• Possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C Driver's License or equivalent.
• All employees must possess an active Pennsylvania Class A or B Commercial Driver Learner's Permit on the first day of work.
• All positions require employees to possess an active Medical Examiner’s Certificate in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations on the first day of work.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
• A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate heavy trucks, loaders, and other equipment used in highway and bridge maintenance
• Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment to maintain a secure work environment
• Carry out maintenance activities using both motorized and non-motorized tools
• Complete pre- and post-operation checks and make basic field adjustments to support safe usage
• Participate in required environmental training and support unit goals related to environmental practices
