Requirements

• Possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C Driver's License or equivalent.
• Possession of an active Medical Examiner’s Certificate in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations by the first day of work.
• Possession of an active Pennsylvania Class A or B Commercial Driver Learner's Permit at the time of application.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks, loaders, and other equipment used in highway and bridge maintenance
• Maintain the required CDL and complete certifications for heavy trucks, loaders, and construction equipment
• Perform flagging duties to guide and protect traffic when not operating equipment
• Use various tools to perform tasks such as clearing brush, repairing guiderails, and cleaning culverts
• Complete field adjustments, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
