Requirements
- Possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C Driver's License or equivalent
- Possession of an active Pennsylvania Class A or B Commercial Driver Learner's Permit on the first day of work
- Possession of an active Medical Examiner’s Certificate in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations by the first day of work
- Must be able to perform essential job functions
Responsibilities
- Learn to operate heavy trucks and loaders and complete required checks for safe use
- Use motorized and non motorized tools to complete maintenance tasks and report damaged equipment
- Follow proper safety procedures, make observations, and report hazards or incidents
- Apply environmental protection practices required for maintenance activities
- Carry out various manual labor duties on highway or bridge crews
