About The Position
We are seeking a qualified CDL Instructor to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves training students to obtain their Commercial Driver's License (CDL). The instructor will be responsible for delivering instruction in both classroom and practical settings, including range and road training.
Requirements
- Meets GA DDS requirements as a CDL instructor
- A minimum of 3 years of Commercial Driving experience - CDL A
- Minimum of 1 year of Training experience
- Good Communication skills
- Ability to provide effective direction and leadership and work effectively and collaboratively with others
- Appropriate licenses and/or certifications depending upon discipline as per state licensing standards
Responsibilities
- Provide effective instruction to students seeking CDL certification.
- Deliver training in classroom, range, and road environments.
- Ensure compliance with Georgia DDS requirements for CDL instructors.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Maintain a safe and effective learning environment.
