About The Position

The CDL Instructor provides instruction in a classroom, on a range, and on the road. The instructor must meet Georgia DDS requirements for CDL instructors and hold appropriate licenses or certifications required by state licensing standards. The position is non-exempt and requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 5:45 p.m., Monday through Saturday. No travel is required.

Requirements

• Meet Georgia DDS requirements as a CDL instructor.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of Commercial Driving experience with a CDL A.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of training experience.
• Have good communication skills.
• Hold appropriate licenses and/or certifications for the discipline, as required by state licensing standards.
• Ability to provide effective direction and leadership and work effectively and collaboratively with others.
