CDL HAZMAT Driver
About The Position
GEODynamics is seeking a qualified Driver in Casper, Wyoming. The role is responsible for safely and promptly delivering products to customers, including explosive materials, while complying with applicable DOT and ATF regulations. The driver also provides backup warehouse support, including shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory control, and pulls production materials for manufacturing. The position verifies work orders and movement of finished goods to magazine storage and helps maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and GEODynamics health and safety expectations. Requirements
- CDL and Hazmat qualification; a Hazmat Endorsement is required.
- Good driving record.
- 1–2 years of driving experience for an oil and gas manufacturer.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Customer-service orientation, self-motivation, and dependability, with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including lifting up to 70 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Complete required tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures to meet inventory, delivery, and quality targets and customer requirements.
- Deliver products to customers safely and on time, including explosive materials, while complying with DOT and ATF regulations.
- Provide backup warehouse support for shipping, receiving, product storage, and inventory control.
- Pull production materials for manufacturing, including explosive powders, cords, and boosters.
- Verify work orders and the movement of finished goods to magazine storage.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including shelves, pallet areas, workstations, and the shipping supply area.
- Follow OSHA procedures and GEODynamics-specific health and safety expectations.
