About The Position

Maverik is hiring a dependable, safety-focused Class A CDL driver to transport fuel to stores across the West. This is a long-term PM-shift role with daily home time and year-round work. The schedule rotates between five days on and two days off, followed by five days on and three days off. PM start times are between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, and shifts average 10–12 hours, with occasional longer days due to weather, traffic, or operational needs. The operation runs 24/7 and includes weekend, holiday, and all-weather driving, including winter conditions and chaining when necessary.

Training may last up to 30 days and is typically conducted on the day shift. After successfully completing training, the driver transitions to the PM shift. Drivers use modern, well-maintained manual trucks and are expected to understand Samsara and slip/shared truck seating.

Pay is $85,000–$105,000 annually. The role offers a quarterly safety bonus of up to $8,000 annually and additional earnings through the company profit-sharing program. Medical, dental, vision, and hearing benefits begin on the first day of the month following the first 30 days of employment; PTO begins accruing on the first day.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• At least 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• Recent experience operating a manual transmission.
• At least 21 years old.
• Clean driving record (MVR) and a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, background check, and road test in a 13–18 speed manual transmission truck.
• Understanding of Samsara and slip/shared truck seating.
• Ability to sit for long periods.
• Ability to repeatedly stand, walk, handle, reach horizontally, and grasp firmly throughout a shift.
• Ability to frequently reach above the shoulder and below the waist; push buttons; bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, and push.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry 75–100 lbs.
• Close, distance, and color vision, and depth perception.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
